After completing an MA in Fine Art (Painting) at Bath Spa University in 2004, Hetty has directed her energy, enthusiasm and skills to Art at the Heart (AATH). She is currently undertaking a HND in Interior Design, which will equip her with the necessary knowledge to create bespoke interior design schemes and arts commissions for the RUH; including ongoing projects for the Dyson Cancer Centre and RNHRD and Therapies Centre.

Tony is a Fine Art graduate and previously worked for the Royal Photographic Society and Damien Hirst.  He has a passion for bringing art into public spaces and the health care environment.



Jessica Brown

Jessica is creative and has an MA in Textiles. She supports the whole programme – Exhibitions, pARTicipate, Soundbite and Capital Projects, whilst keeping up to date with the latest projects and gathering feedback for evaluation.

Whilst studying for her Music degree at Bath Spa University, Frankie volunteered for the Alzheimer’s Society and developed a keen interest in the effects of music with older people and more specifically for those with Dementia. She enjoys choosing songs that will promote reminiscence and interaction from her listeners.

Charlotte Stowell                                                                                                       PROFESSIONAL ARTIST


Charlotte’s background is in design and craft. Her expert knowledge in the use materials and techniques provides patients with an opportunity to explore creative processes and ideas to produce their own imaginative work.

Catherine White
PROFESSIONAL ARTIST


Catherine is an ex-paediatric nurse and has a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art. She brings a lively imagination to her workshops on the wards, often spontaneously tailoring activities to patients needs.
