We welcome your feedback!

We always aim to enhance the look and feel of the hospital with art and to deliver more arts projects to support the healing of patients.

We have feedback cards situated along the RUH main corridors and welcome your feedback on the exhibition programme, art workshops and music performances so please let us know your thoughts.

“Amazing workshop, kept my little boy entertained for hours, good variety of paints, pencils etc. The canvas will be amazing when finished.”

“My daughter’s first memory after waking up was her model unicorn in her room. Having something positive to focus on during a difficult time was so helpful. Thank you so much to the staff. This is a wonderful thing to do.”

Parent

“This is an amazing idea! It makes the hospital beautiful and welcoming. It brings the community of artists, medical staff, patients and community together.”

“Made special detour en route to Bath – always love to see diverse exhibitions that really brighten otherwise dull, long corridors.”

“My hospital appointments are pretty miserable but @artatruh brightens them considerably! The value of art should not be underestimated.”

Patient

“My husband is a patient here and I have been so impressed with the activities in the dayroom. Patients have fun and become friends while learning crafts and enjoying afternoon teas and music. What a splendid idea!”

“What a brilliant and amazing newsletter – there looks to be lots of fabulous things to look forward to. Thanks to everyone, we are very lucky here at the RUH to have all this loveliness to feast our eyes and ears on!”

Staff Member

“This hospital is inspirational in how it has embraced art as a partner to healthcare. Both the artworks on display inside and out, together with the gardens have created an environment conclusive to recovery.”

Visitor

“My daughter came in for a blood test which she has regularly. She has developed a strong fear of having the tests. Today was very different because we came and worked with Edwina first. Martha was relaxed and enjoyed exploring the materials and making a scene with characters and scenery. She turned it into a computer game! The blood test was quicker and easier than it’s been for months and she recovered quickly. She was very keen to return to working with Edwina and playing with her creation. The whole process was much more relaxing for us as parents too.”
