Love2Learn Printmaking and Ceramics: Bath College Student Work

From 26th July 2022

This exhibition showcases exciting student work from the Printmaking and Ceramic Love to Learn courses at Bath College.

It shows individual, skilful and engaging work across a range of subjects and processes. The work is underpinned by playful enquiry, experimentation and exploration with materials.

The termly part-time courses provide opportunities to creatively explore and develop visual and 3 dimensional studies through a structured range of processes across the year. These are suitable for beginners to advanced abilities. This provides a conducive learning environment promoting a rich and informative experience in which students share and give breadth to their creative, visual thinking and making.

Through a variety of approaches, students are inspired to develop their studies in the well-equipped specialist workshops. They are encouraged to produce individual and engaging outcomes that often demonstrate considerable care, skill and knowledge.

Fresh Arts

The 2022 Fresh Art@ Exhibition `Out of the Dark’ showcases new artwork to enliven the walls of clinical settings. The title reflects the sense of coming out of the darkness and emerging from the shadows into the light. A theme which was particularly meaningful after the experiences of the last 2 years. Everyone involved in this project believes that creativity can make a significant difference to people’s lives by inspiring and supporting them to have fun, be creative, learn new transferable skills, improve health and wellbeing and connect with communities.
